Wedding cakes – An exquisite wedding cake will make an elegant statement on your special day. Talented pastry chef behind Pretty Parties has over 10 years’ experience in designing beautiful and elaborate cakes for special occasions. Using the latest techniques including embroidery, stencil, gold and silver leaf, and sugar veiling, our designers will surprise and delight you with a special cake for your wedding day. Choose from one of the stunning designs in our gallery, or work with us to create your very own gorgeous cake. Here are some tips for selecting your perfect wedding cake:
- Servings – Will it be used for coffee or dessert? This will determine the amount of cake required and therefore the cost.
- Scale – How big do you want it to look? How many guests you’re having can play a huge role in determining the size of your cake.
- Designing – Consider your event theme, colours and style and we can design a gorgeous centrepiece to suit.
- Costing – The size, design and embellishments on your cake will dramatically affect the cost, so it’s good to have a budget in mind.
- Weather – Unfortunately the weather can affect your cake, so if you’re having an outdoor wedding, the finish of your cake is definitely something to bear in mind.
- Wedding themed dessert buffets – Add some pizazz to your wedding reception with a gorgeous wedding themed dessert buffet. With sweet treats for everyone, the dessert buffet will entice and delight throughout the evening. All desserts are handmade by our talented team.
- Wedding themed bonbonniere – Wedding guests will be over the moon with a handmade, edible bonbonniere by Pretty Parties. From cupcakes to shortbread cookies and everything in between, our bonbonniere are perfectly matched to the theme of the day and wrapped individually for a personal touch.
*All services vary in price according to the design, complexity and number of servings you require. We can work with you to tailor your wedding to suit your budget. A 50% deposit is required on all orders. Wedding cakes include free delivery in the Sydney metro area, outside area may incur additional fees.
